Lake Munmorah: worth knowing before you renovate

The Newcastle Herald reported on 2 May 2025 that asbestos danger signs had gone up around a bushland buffer next to the former Lake Munmorah Power Station site, after its state-owned owner found illegally dumped building waste and identified isolated samples of bonded asbestos.
