The Council’s word “fibro” describes a style of house; it isn’t a test result. If you own one and plan to reclad or replace it, get samples tested first (asbestos testing). The council’s asbestos page sets the limit for owners at 10 square metres of bonded asbestos, removed with the right precautions; beyond that, or for anything friable, you need a licensed removalist (Central Coast Council). After a big storm, look the walls and eaves over from the ground rather than climbing up.
Tell us what’s there and where: an outside wall, a carport, the eaves. Rough dimensions are plenty. If any of it is broken or has come loose, say so. And if you’ve already had a test, have the result handy. Planning a knock-down to build a bigger house? Mention that too, with a rough start date.
